As I'm typing this, we are in the air! 4/17/14
Saying goodbye to our kids was very hard. 11 days away from them....Wow, that is a long time.
Our flight schedule included an overnight stay in San Francisco . We went to the Fisherman's Wharf with my cousin, Ty, and Steven. Those two are fabulous tour guides...really, this is their calling! :)
At SFO, we checked in 3 1/2 hours early then passed our time fighting with our ipads and iphones, trying to Skype and/or Facetime with my mom & Lily. Never could make it happen...so maybe we need to hook up with the upcoming greatest technology devices in Seoul...home of Samsung and LG, right?!!
We have an amazing Tour Guide! Can you imagine us navigating Seoul by ourselves; home of millions of people! Those of you that know Yancy, are probably laughing, thinking of him trying to patiently wait in lines, communicate, and get from point A to point B without spewing some colorful language! 😁
9 more hours Till we land, and I will step foot on my homeland for the first time in 38 years...stay tuned! 🇰🇷
